Rescue with us.

Adoption Process.

Thinking of adopting? Our team gets to know these dogs, and look hard for the perfect fit for each. Our 501c3 rescue has a few parameters for adoption due to our rescue’s experience, such as:

  • Adoptees must be 24 years or older.

  • All resident dogs should be spayed/neutered.

  • We don’t adopt out multiple dogs to the same home at one time (i.e. two puppies from the same litter).

  • An adoption fee of $425 - $1000 is required which covers spay/neuter, their first full set of vaccines and microchip.

  • We expect owners to commit to hiring professional trainers if they do not feel comfortable training their dog if necessary before considering rehoming the dog. Your new companion is a family member too!

What we will want to know; What's your home situation? How will they react with your other pets and children? Will they get enough activity for their breed's needs? We don't do same day adoptions OR first-come-first-serve for these reasons—we're looking for the very best fit for the dog AND the adoptive family. Nothing is harder (for us, for you, but especially for the dog) to be returned to the rescue because it wasn't a good fit. We do everything we can to avoid that scenario. Thanks for your patience as we take our time to make the best placements we can!

Adoption FAQs

How much are adoption fees and what do they cover?

Our adoption fees for dogs and puppies range from $425 to $1000. This fee covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations based on their age, and treatment if they are Heartworm positive. We want to emphasize that rescue work comes with significant costs, and our adoption fees are rarely less than what we spend on each animal. On average, we invest $500 to $1,000 per animal during their time in our care.

By paying the adoption fee, you demonstrate your commitment to welcoming the pet as a cherished member of your family. We believe that owning a pet is an investment, both in terms of time and resources. It's important to note that due to the substantial veterinary bills, expenses for food, supplies, and other necessities to sustain our rescue operations, all adoption fees are 100% nonrefundable. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason, as we prioritize the welfare and well-being of our rescued animals.

If I submit an adoption application, am I guaranteed the dog?

Due to the high demand for our dogs, we receive multiple applications for each one. Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption of a specific dog. While we strive to keep our website updated, adoptions occur frequently, and the dog you are interested in may already have a pending adoption.

As a foster, we would provide you with the dog's leash, crate, and food. All medical needs of the dog will have been addressed and covered. You provide love, support and routine! We would like to do a home visit/meet & greet to see how your family takes to the foster. We try to make the transition to fostering as easy as possible and are always available for help and support. We also try to line up fosters with dogs that are appropriately matched for them. *Please note we are a foster based rescue and since we don’t have a facility, we do ask that you are able to commit to at least two weeks to avoid having to scramble to find placing last minute (some dogs get adopted more quickly than others).
